Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. Exciting News

I haven't blogged for about a fortnight because I've been trying to get organised for the making of christmas cards..yes even though I've fought it..the time to get glittery has arrived. I've spent the time die cutting holly leaves, snowflakes, pine cones and the like until boxes are full. In the middle of all this I received the most wonderful news. I am now a member of the design team for jb-crafting supplies. I will be sharing the cards I make on this page and also on http:// jb-crafting supplies.blogspot.co.uk. Please have a look on their blog as it is a wonderful site for inspiration. There are some very talented ladies who besides being great crafters, adore what they do and love to share ideas. I also now have a facebook page dedicated to my cards called Vixenvarg cards and creations. Please come and have a look. I've never been into computers..just learning what I needed to and was even nervous then. Then I got into cdrom crafting and learnt a little more. Then I took the step of starting this blog and I love it. When I first began blogging, my son said that I had a look of absolute terror on my face and laughed a lot taking the mickey out of me. I don't know why but at first I was terrified but it is so much easier now. So if you are toying with the idea of starting a blog..please give it a go. If I can do it anyone can. Happy crafting.
