Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. Friday...Age of Elegance 1

This is from Joanna Sheens 'Age of Elegance' cdrom. It is a fantastic cd with alot of my favourite images on it. The die cut is from Crafts-too and is called 'Entwined'. I use this die in lots of different ways as you'll see in the coming months. Sometimes you have a card and it just 'needs' something. This die seems to fill that gap. Today has been a day when the computer nearly got thrown out of the window. I've been having problems with my home hub..so I changed it and got to the point that I wish I hadn't. My best friend had to spend all day reconnecting the printer. Here I was with a new cdrom (Joanna Sheens Hollypond Hill Christmas) and it just wouldn't let me print. If it wasn't for my friend..the computer would be on the path and I would be shaking in a corner. I will always admit that I'm no good with technology but how are you supposed to get better when doing anything new is enough to send you to the caffeine? But onwards and upwards. So now I'm calm I'm off to print to my hearts delight. Take care and happy crafting.
