Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. The Patchwork Hare

Todays card is featuring the fabulous Halcyan Days cdrom from Crafters Companion. I did one of my favourite things to do right now...create a patchwork background using scraps of paper that would have otherwise been thrown away. The hare topper was a spare one from a sheet that I had already worked with. I made this card for the jb- crafting supplies design team. There are some extremely talented ladies on this design team..if you get a chance..pop over and take a look at their blog...it's always filled with lots of inspiration.

What a day today has been...I've felt as if I've needed a lie down since I got up..lol. I had the nurse to give me my third B12 injection..and for some reason it gives me a headache..as I've moaned about before. Lets hope it goes quickly. I've also had a visit from the undertaker..really lovely man but brings lots of feelings up. So my last injection is on Thursday...then at least it's over for 3 months...yipee. As well as all that I've had to blog on 3 other sites and post on facebook..so it's been a really busy day..good though. I love sharing my cards and always hope that by me doing that..others may have a go. I've always thought of my blog as a journey which I love sharing. I get so many messages and lovely comments about my cards..it means so much when people take the time to share their thoughts.

The weather is so strange today..it can't seem to make it's mind up what it wants to do. It's very hot but the clouds have been grey all day. I half expected to get caught in a shower when I took Reg for a wheel. We had 5 cats with us today but only4 were mine. A neighbours cat has joined us.He sat and watched for days and seems to have decided to join in the happiness. I don't think that Jeffrey was very happy though. He is turning into a really I love my Mum cat and sometimes just doesn't want to share...lol. He has taken to sleeping on the bed right by my side and moans like fury if  I put my cd player on. He even has to come into the bathroom whilst I have a bath. He plays with the bubbles and I'm just waiting for him to fall in...it's bound to happen but I just don't know when...that should be funny.

Well the coffee calls..I have some more cards to upload. I have some computer work to do tomorrow, which I have to say I'm dreading..but I have a good friend who is always there to shut me up when I scream...lol. So until then...take care and happy crafting
