Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. Delivering Christmas

Todays card is another from the fabulous Bebunni Christmas cdrom. The images are just so cute and there is something magical about them. I have mounted the image onto some silver mirri and then onto a backing paper. I embellished with some die cut snowflakes and jewels. This card has been made so that it will take a normal stamp. The postage these days has made everyone think about how many christmas cards they can afford to spend. And it's a real pity as some people really enjoying hearing from people that they may not hear from the rest of the year.

The weather here today is freezing and the biggest cat flap in the world is shut and there is a group of very disgusted cats who are trying to decide to be in or out. I've got the blanket over my legs and Raven has decided that she is stopping there. Pinkie has not shut up since she arrived home and is telling anyone who comes in all about her adventures..lol.

Last night was a revelation in this house for all the cats. My friend had sent me a present of an electric blanket for the bed. I have never had one before and I have to say it was fantastic. I made up the bed with the blanket in place and slipped my nightie and dressing gown under the quilt as well. It didn't take long fr the cats to realise that something was different. All of a sudden I had three cats trying to get their bottoms onto the warm spot..lol. Word will now have got out to the rest, so I'm expecting a stampede tonight. They take up enough of the bed as it is without stealing my heat as well.

Well the coffee is calling..and I'm in great need of some caffeine.Even though I'm hinting at 2 of my friends..it has taken a lot of moaning to get one. So until tomorrow  take care and happy crafting.
