Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. Work Continues

Hello everyone...sorry that I didn't manage to get blog yesterday...I am trying so hard to get ahead with my christmas orders...at the moment I seem to be knee deep in glitter and holly leaves. I'm hoping to get my head together and get some serious work done. So for todays pictures I thought I would share a picture of Reg (above) and Jeffrey (below)..the partners in crime..lol. Last nights crime was to raid the treat box..about a kilo in treats has disappeared.

It is Jeffrey that can manage to open the lid of the treat box. Even when Mother has masking taped the lid shut..he can still manage to get it open. Then he dishes out the goodies for Reg and himself. I have seen them at it..it's a case of one for you and then one for me. And looking at the amount of treats that have disappeared..it's going to be a very windy day today...lol.

The weather here in the mountains today is rather nippy. It's fine but you get a very definite feeling that Jack Frost is on his way..lol. In the dog basket Reg, Tankie and Jeff are all curled up and don't look like they're going to move any time soon. I thought that while I'm sat here under my blanket it would be nice to share this picture of summer with you. It was taken in my friends garden. It is a magical place. It is like walking in a grotto and is the perfect place to forget your every day worries.

Well the coffee is calling and the work is shouting. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have good news about my level of glitter. So until then..take care and happy crafting.
