Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. JB-Crafting...Shall I kiss him ?

Todays card is a design team make for the wonderful JB-Crafting Supplies. I have been lucky enough to work with this fabulous stamp from Nellie Snellen this month. I am loving working with it because the varieties are endless. You could colour the fairy to match a friends favourite colour..I decided for this card to use my golden/orange tones and then I found a flower that matched in my stash. For this full card and more please pop over to the JB-Crafting Supplies blog page. If you ever need any crafting supplies or even sewing stuff..you must pop over and look what's available from Julie. I am in love with some of her fabrics..there is a particular one with owls on that just might have to fly it's way here...lol.

I've been organising all weekend..I can't say that any where looks any tidier but at least I know where everything is. There is still the large cupboard to do..but I may need a tablet before I begin that. Over the weekend I've had some wonderful news..which I will be sharing with you all, over the next few weeks. Crafting has bought nothing but joy into my life. It has been my escape route when life has become hard and has been a way of expressing myself, when I can't find the words. There is nothing better than spending a couple of hours with my inks and paints..I have to say that at the end both myself and the cats are all covered in everything and we may just be glittery for a while..lol. As I sit here I can see glitter flakes all over my tshirt...and I haven't even touched it today..lol. It's in the air.

Jeffrey is feeling very sorry for himself today. He has been visiting Sparkles garden and just because he is so nosey..he has ended up upsetting the two magpies that nest there. He limped home this morning, hanging his head. He has been well and truly pecked. Out had to come the TCP and now no-one wants to sit by him. It has all come as a big shock to him and at the moment he is sat on the parlour floor..feeling ever so sore. He will just have to learn not to be so nosey..lol...if he doesn't he going to end up with a head like a colander. I've heard of being hen pecked but not magpie pecked. Only Jeffrey..lol

Well the coffee is calling and then it will be time to go down and sort out dinner. We are having fried chicken, potatoes (oven baked with cream and stock) and vegetables. I'm really looking forward to it. I use panko to coat the chicken..it makes such a difference to the crunch. So until tomorrow..take care and happy crafting.

  1. Gorgeous image you have used today. Poor Jeffrey-hopefully he'll not do that again.

You tea sounds delicious especially as I'm on a diet-again!
