Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. Decoupage Delights......Pansies for you

Here I am again...this is the last time for today...I promise...lol. There are just so many wonderful crafting companies and groups out there..I just have to share my joy. This card is a design team make for the fabulous company of Decoupage Delights. This is from their recent cdrom Marlene..Fashion and Flowers. I do believe that I have a passion for pansies and I just had to make up this card. The frame, image and flowers are decoupaged. The backing paper is also on the cdrom. I have mounted both the backing paper and the image onto some gold mirri, added some pearls and a ribbon. It didn't need much more because the actual image is just so beautiful. I do love the vintage look. Thinking about it, I am so lucky to be able to work in so many areas of the crafting world. All the design teams that I'm on are all different and I find that working in more than one area keeps me thinking. I have to laugh though...I end thinking cards or canvases in bed. And if I decide that I don't like something, it will play on my mind until I've changed it..lol
Well I'm off now for a coffee and a biscuit. Thank goodness that BT is playing today. And as an extra joy I've a parcel that has arrived with the postman. I have been very good and not opened it. I decided that I would finish all my work before I got to the extra excitement..lol. So my final coffee will be a treat. At the moment it's not raining, so all the cats are sat on the shed..I don't know how long it will last. For tomorrow I have a treat..I've finally managed to get a photo of the Jeffrey. I will share it next time I blog. My friend Pretty managed to get it, so I'm really pleased. So finally ....until next time...take care and happy crafting.
