Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. Left of Center....New Challenge.

Todays cards are design team makes for the fabulous Left of Center Creative Challenges.
A new challenge has just begun and the theme for this week is to use the sketch below. I have used the sketch for the first two cards and as you also have the chance to go LOC with any entry, I decided to go LOC with the third card.
We are lucky this week to have two sponsors. The first sponsor is the wonderful team over at the East Wind and the two first cards are from that company. They have such a range of wonderful images
Our second sponsor and the creator of the wonderful image below is Poppyseed Graphics.
I loved working with all three of these images and had so much fun. I hope that you will pop over and take a look at the challenge blog...the other members of the design team have created some wonderfully inspiring work...I know that I always so enjoy looking at what they create. Why not join in the fun?
I have to say that I'm feeling absolutely worn out. It was officially emergency ward 10 here last night. Flossie went into labour and it was a case of rubber gloves on and sit by her. Bless her she was really good but insisted that I rub her tummy the whole time and talk to her. She delivered 4 beautiful kittens and all seems well this afternoon. She has had 2 tabby kittens , 1 black and white and 1 black.
The black one was the first born and the biggest kitten I have ever seen. As soon as he was born he headed straight to the milk and has the loudest wail of them all. I don't think he has left the milk bar since he was born. Flossie is being really good with them and is forever washing and directing them. She has been so good and let me move them all this morning so I could clean the pen...and now they are all lay by her and she has her leg over them, making mummy noises. All the other cats have been over and had a look. Even Reg had to go to the pen and take a look at what was making all the noise..lol
Well the coffee is definitely calling...I think that I'm on my fifth mug..lol. I will definitely sleep well tonight. My legs are killing me today...I've had as many painkillers that I can have until later and yet I feel as if I haven't had any. I'll be back later with another design make..so until later...take care and happy crafting
