Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. A Snowflakes Promise.....New Challenge

Here I am again...caffeine added..lol. This card is a design team make for the wonderful team over at A Snowflakes Promise. A new challenge has just begun and will run for the following fortnight. The theme as always now is Anything Goes with an option of Spring. I have been amazed by all the wonderful creations we have had for previous challenges. I hope that you will pop over and take a look.

For this challenge we have been lucky enough to have been sponsored by the great team over at All Dressed Up. I just love their images..there is something so whimsical about them. I was lucky enough to pick my favourite to work with and of course I just had to pick this image of the cat. For this card, I just coloured the image with my promarkers..I just loved the large bow. I would love to put a ribbon on one of mine but it would only take a moment and then it would have been chewed to death. I was given a present by my friend Dotty and it came in a beautiful box with a fabulous ribbon on it. The next thing that I knew...the ribbon was on the other side of the room being carried proudly by Gannie..and he has not parted with it yet..lol

I do hope that you will pop over and take a look at all the other design team makes..they are all so talented and always create some magic with their work.

I can't believe that the day has flown so quickly. I seem to have hit the floor running..or at least my version of it..lol and don't seemed to have stopped and my list of things to do doesn't seem to have got any smaller. My next job is to make a couple of cards and then I have a pile of colouring for other projects. Hopefully that will be my quiet time. So I think that now I will go and top up on yet more caffeine and then to work. So until tomorrow...take care and happy crafting.
