Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. Jiggery Makery Presents Penelpoe

Hello...I'm back again. This card is a design team make for the fabulous Jiggery Makery. I have decided to use this wonderful digi called Penelope. This card was inspired by an evening scrolling the internet, looking at vintage fashion. I spotted a dress..it was coloured similar to the one I have made.It was a silk dress and had the large leaves, coloured with Autumn colours. I was amazed by the number of dresses that had oversized flowers or leaves..they were fantastic. I know at the moment, there is a passion for all things retro and I have seen some fantastic dresses. It's made me actually want a summer dress..who knows..I may even make one.

I hope you will pop over to the Jiggery Makery facebook page and take a look at the fabulous makes created by the other members of the design team. And to see the full collection of digital beauties..pop over to Etsy.

Well the coffee is calling and I definitely need a caffeine hit. I've got of work to do and my legs are singing a little song all of their own. I've tried taking more painkillers but that's not helping. I suppose everyone has days like this. I managed to sort the frames out that had arrived. About half of them are either put by for some people or have gone ready for the village Easter Fair.I do hope that we manage to raise some more funds for the memorial fund. After I've had a coffee I'm hoping to finish some more design team makes that I'm half way through. So it may be a long night. So until tomorrow...take care and happy crafting.
