Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. Crafting Musketeers....New Challenge

Today's cards are design team makes for the wonderful team over at the Crafting Musketeers. A new challenge began yesterday and will run for the forthcoming month. The theme for this challenge is Babies and I have so enjoyed making these cards.

We are so lucky to have been sponsored by the fabulous team over at Crafty Ribbons and they were so kind to supply the team with a selection of their wonderful ribbons. The beautiful ribbon that is printed with the baby washing line is from their collection. The range that they supply is amazing and always worth a look.

For both my cards, I have used a retired cdrom from Joanna Sheen called Baby Love. You can sometimes find this cd on Ebay and it is always watching out for. I have had the cd since it was first released and sits in my library of crafting cdroms. If I need a baby card, I always go to this cd.

This is going to be a short blog today as I will have to be back later with another 2 design team makes. I had hoped to get them done yesterday but with everything that was going on and the intermittent internet, I had to leave it all until today. I hope that you will pop over to the Crafting Musketeers Challenge blog and take a look at all the fabulous creations that have been made by the rest of the team.

Well the coffee is really needed today...so I'm off for a top up and will be back in a while. Until then..take care and happy crafting.
